I have put a piezo under the chin rest. The sound is great and it’s weird to see it being played. Nobody expects a pink violin sounding like that.

I'm doing some experiments. What is an economical way to get a set of "real" (i.e. made for music) steel strings, at least 28" long and preferably with ball ends, of many gauges, both plain and wound?
