Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

This is the first instrument I ever made. I had no tools. I borrowed my dad's coping saw to cut out the face, and got creative with the saw to cut out the sound holes. Borrowed his drill for anything that bolted together. Used his hand held belt sander for about 30 minutes to shape the fingerboard/neck out of a chunk of wood. Burned the motor out and shaped the rest sanding by hand. Wired a couple LEDs inside the body to a battery pack on the back of the neck and painted the inside green so the cat's eye soundholes would glow green. Fun build. E string rattles a tiny bit, but it actually plays pretty good. Oh, I wired it with a piezo pickup and that works pretty good too. It was all downhill from there and I got sucked into the world of instruments and other projects. ;-)
