Hi all

My name is Ole and according to the member map, I'm the first one in Denmark :-)
I just started playing guitar 2 years ago and 2-3 months ago I got my first 3 string CBG. Now I have expanded to 3 CBG's so I can play along with friends visiting.

I have not build my own guitars yet, but maybe in the future. For now I'm just trying to learn to play and I'm having fun doing it :-)

Hello,
My name is Gary. I just started making Strumstick instruments and having a bunch of fun with them. I am on my fifth build right now.
I am a conventional machinist by trade so I am able to use my experience in the shop to build a quality nice sounding instruments. I am very interested in seeing what other folks are making.
Thank you!

Hello Dan, James here. Sounds like you have the will to try something and i feel sure you will do fine. Welcome.

Hello ever one I'm Dan.  I have recently started on my 1st (well... 1st five) cigar box guitars.  I have no idea how to play so this should be quiet the learning experience.  I made some Kalimba's for my daughters and wife for Christmas and they turned out great, so maybe with a bit more effort these will also.

G'day from Australia! My name is Ian Cunningham and I've been making cigar box guitars, basses and ukeleles for several years.I've been fortunate enough to be able to have a permanent display in a local art gallery, where I've sold a few. Mostly, I sell by word of mouth and often make to order. It's a great hobby! I also play bass in a local retro rock'n'roll band...can't keep a good man down!

Hi my name is Ben,

I first got into building CBGs out of curiosity and 6 months later I was invited by a friend of mine to help out with my own brand of production for the Harley Davidson 110th anniversary event with a part in a booth in "Artisan Alley" at the Harley Museum. We built 12 guitars in 3 months and sold 7 (of ours) in 2 days. I'm not bragging, I just think it was a really cool opportunity that made for some even cooler stories :) Thanks for your time, and I hope to enjoy my time here with all of you and learn as much as I can from the collective genius here :)
