Handmade Music Clubhouse

Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

Hello I'm Jessie,

When I was a kid I loved playing in my Dad's scrap pile making things. This last Christmas I decided to make diddly bows for some of my family members, so I found a few youtube tutorials and gave it a shot. I felt just like a kid in the scrap pile again. It really helped me understand some of the basic mechanics of how these instruments work and made the world of making music a lot less intimidating. So I'm hooked and want to make more and play more.

Thanks for having me

Jessie, welcome to the club. I think most of us started out that way. I stayed with diddley bows for awhile and have a pretty large collection now. Have fun with it and play them, you'll get good at it. Larry "Mac" McCormick
