Good day to all the music makers out there! My name is Jason Love Goodman and I love to make kalimbas! I lived on Maui for a bit and bought a coconut kalimba and thought as I looked at it," I can totally make this" So I did and I haven't stopped. Each and every kalimba I make is unique like the player who plays them. In keeping with the ancestors who have made kalimbas from whatever they had on hand , I too use trash to make in to treasure. I use reclaim bowls from the thrift store and sometimes I use street sweeper bristles for the tines. I have recently started adding pickups to the kalimbas, wow what a whole new world of sound! I look forward to learning some new ideas from those who have come before me!

Hello all. I'm David Wells from Columbia, SC. Played folk music professionally back in the '60's until the British invasion sort of shook things up. Been a traveling salesman since then. Never left music, but only played for self gratification. Getting totally immersed in the prospect of building instruments. Will be picking your brains via your posts and comments. thanks for being here.

Greetings. I'm David Standridge in New Berlin, Wisconsin (just outside Mikwaukee). I made my first CBG from an RG Dunn box my dad had in his garage for as long as I can remember. That was about 4 years ago. And I haven't stopped..! Looking forward to learning from all here.
