Ohe Hano Ihu means Bamboo Nose Breath. The Air from the nose was considered pure because you can't lie with your nose. The men would use these mainly for courtship.

Eric references using the small-pipes design in combination with David Daye's Penny Chanter to make a set of Uilleann practice pipes. His link is dead, but I found David's page here. David sells pipes and supplies for aspiring builders, too.
