Randy, I'm betting that one week from today, you will have it all tweaked and fall in love with your build. That's the beauty of building. You know it better than anyone and will easily figure out what is needed to make it sound great. It's all part of the process.
Randy. I usually don't worry too much with the first sounds. There is a lot of "tweaking" after you get it strung up. The first thing will be action adjustments and intonation. A day or two of tweaking and you'll likely fall in love with it.
It is currently my daily player. Have it tuned Open G and love playing old Son House tunes with slide.
Look forward to hearing/seeing your.
It has quickly become my daily player. The action from the nut is just high enough to use a slide without banging frets, but low enough to allow easy fretting. I'm liking it.
That sure has the nice rezo sound Tom, great job!
Here is a link to an audio clip of the metal body resonator. I recorded it using a Yeti USB mic.
