tack head banjo

this is the tack head banjo unfinished that I made last year. The pot is an american indian hoop drum I found at a native american trading post in Denver. Head is goat skin hand streched and attached with brass tacks, the dowel is hackberry, and the neck is salvaged from a first act acoustic modified, fret board was left unfretted maple. It was a lot of fun to play now its 2,000 miles away at my Dads house. Hope he is enjoying it. I will post some finished pics of it soon.
