A 2 pole Stonehenge dressed in Strat clothing. The client, Andy Alt, will install this into the neck position of a Strat.
Together with a new circuit and jack, he'll run the output into an octave pedal and into a bass amp, in addition to being able to use 2 channels on the board in the studio.
Gotta love a stereo guitar/bass!
The black plastic cover came from a music store, a basic OEM replacement. I think this Stonehenge should be mounted bare...

Check out the Steve Vai vid in the comments. I want Andy's job...
Andy, have an update on this?
Andy is hardcore (clubhouse profile), his boss is Steve Vai and James Trussart does the installs for my pups.
Here's Andy when there's loud music from another room
Andy, get us a vid! Ask Steve too...

Yep, my vote is not to cover it. It's a work of art.

Super Cool! under cover, ssssssssshhhhhhh
I sat in on a workshop sponsored by 'Taylor' guitars several years ago and the guy was playing a guitar that was set up like that (octave on the bass). Awesome sound.
