Welcome to the Clubhouse! How did you hear about us?
Surfing the web looking for wiring diagrams for piezo pickups
What instruments are you building or playing?
Currently play accoustic and electric fiddle. Am just starting to build a new hollow bodied electric fiddle which I will be fitting with a home made bridge pickup (pizo transducer) and a schaller oyster pickup in the body.

Cigar Box Bowed DulciII don`t think you can cut the film ones....but i used a rod piezo on this " fiddle type " of bridge. Just another thought on the type of bridge pickup you could do...i have also done the kind with a piezo disc sandwitched between to pieces of thin wood then acrved in to the shape of the fiddle bridge. Thing that i don`t like about the disc`s they seem to pickup unwanted noise compared to a rod type that works from pressure on it...like the saddle against it.

hey Dave i saw where your building a fiddle with a piezo pickup. When i built my whiskey box bowed dulcimer i used a film piezo...it lays between the bottom of the bridge and the top of the lid. The sound is great and it was so easy installing it.
