Blueprints Bridge Side

"Here's the design for the bridge. I decided to change these plans and put the lugs I bought for the bass side's Steinberger situation on the end instead of on the back. So that's different from the design on the blueprint."

Mark-up on the side.

Profile Information

Welcome to the Clubhouse! How did you hear about us?
Searching for Chapman Stick images.
What instruments are you building or playing?
A two sided tapping instrument.

I'd like to use laminated bamboo without epoxy for the wood. I'd like to use either stainless steel dowels for frets or anodized aluminum. The front instrument and the back instrument have their own stereo jacks but could also go with four cables. Each group of 6 strings could also be modular where they can be removed from the others or more added as desired maybe with some kind of interlocking mechanism in the wood like pieces of a puzzle. I've already got EMG pickups for it but was thinking to go with Bartolinis instead.

It all sounds so great but no experience building proper guitars and electronic instruments  except a pvc didg in the shape of a sax, a wooden xylophone from door framing material, nail chimes, boo bams, stamping tubes, acoustic box guitars, crotales from circular saw blades, gongs from saw blades, rake tine thumb piano, a broken electric guitar transformed into an acoustic sitar, a can harp, a can spike fiddle, etc...
