"This is great. I'm working with a local art center on developing a children's band using handmade roots instruments. The "lagerphone" would be a wonderful addition. Thanks for posting and bringing this to my attention. "

"I see you're in Cincinnati. I'm close to Hillsboro and was wondering if you ever bought boxes at Jungle Jim's? If so, what kind of price range do the charge? You have an interesting "family" of builds. "

"Would I be correct in thinking the sound board is honey locust and the fret board is buckeye? I love the look of this. I've cut a ton (or two) honey locust for fire wood over the years but have never seen any milled. "

Hi Larry, welcome to the Clubhouse!

The focus here is on all types of handmade instruments and music. There are lots of helpful builders and players here and lots of Groups to teach and learn. We welcome participation so don't be shy.

Have a look around, introduce yourself in My Name Is... and add yourself to the Member Map. There's an active Chat Room where you can ask questions, offer help or just talk about anything with some great folks.

Most of all Have Fun!
