oh i forgot to say i used a scale of 24.75 inches on the license plate build with 2 strings and on the 3 string license plate build i used a scale of 25. and i really like the 25. scale

howdy mal--on the license plate build 3 stringer---- i used string guages---.042--.032--.022--- and right under the bridge i embedded a piezo into the neck.hope this helps you.

Hi Mal.

I read somewhere (long ago) that Lew Dite has a Youtube video that talks about his song book. If you can search youtube using "Lew Dite" and "songbook", then I suspect you'll be able to find the video. I'd check for you, but Youtube is blocked in China.

The focus here is on all types of handmade instruments and music. There are lots of helpful builders and players here and lots of Groups to teach and learn. We welcome participation so don't be shy.
