"I totally dig this adventure. The only buzz kill I get from this is when i wanna play, I wanna play. The set up and tune up for me would be a negative but, Its still better then not having something to play at all! "

Short Scale CBG

Has anyone built or played a CBG with a very short scale, say 14-18 inches. If so are they difficult to play. What is the shortest scale that anyone has played? I am trying to build a playable CBG for back pack travel. How wide are the necks? I will be using a slide and a piezo pick up to use with a mini amp attached to the guitar I intend to use Uke. Tuners and somehow hinge the neck. I am a very early learner at playing and buildingThanksSee More

CBG for travelling.

I will be leaving Oz for a 2-6 month trip to France and later for about the same time in the USA. I want to take a CBG with me. I am still a newbie and want to know if there is a CBG which can be easily dismantled and then reassembled . If not what is the shortest scale length which is easily playable. Some of my travelling will be on a bicycleThanks in advanceSee More
