So I am still working on my first cigar box guitar. I thought I was about done, but then discovered I’d been not paying enough attention to instructions (the ones for the first guitar in Mike Orr’s book) and ended up with too small a headstock, with the nut way too close to the first tuner. Learned behavior

Just a little under two weeks ago I was still working on completing my first stringed instrument, a Grizzly ukulele kit, and I starting thinking, what next? Came up with an idea, sketched it out, decided to build a quickie prototype first.The "Uke Onna Stick" will be a solid-"body" electric soprano ukulele. Ukulele; nearing completion of a Grizzly soprano and contemplating some other uke builds. I've played some other instruments & made a couple PVC clarinets.

The focus here is on all types of handmade instruments and music. There are lots of helpful builders and players here and lots of Groups to teach and learn. We welcome participation so don't be shy.
