"I hear ya Brett. I dug around out in my tool box and found a few wood working tools. Found my Dremel, a cheap plane and a couple more wood files. Also found a couple squeeze clamps. Also found a palm sander, sabre saw, Roto Tool and a few hand saws.…"

Started my second CBG. This one will be a 6 string using cannibalized parts from a cheep-o electric guitar I had in the back of the closet. Decided to start this one while the sealer on my first build was drying. I may just have to break down and buy a few tools. This is really fun.

First Snag

Well, ran into my first snag on my CBG build. I don't have an measuring tool with small enough markers to accurately measure and mark my fret spacing. The tape and square I have are old, the really small markers are wore off. Guess I need to buy something new. Bummer.

Well, after a few cold ones as it is hot as hell here in South Louisiana I got back to it on my first CBG. Noticed a couple mistakes I have made already getting in a rush to get 'er done but nothing that cant be fixed. I got the slots cut in the box. Ruined the first box by not double checking my markings before I cut. Glad I got a bunch of boxes. Neck fits in pretty good!
