No band, just Keith and his Crocker...

Want one of your own?

From email with Keith:

"Ted, I looked on your web site and just fell in love with this guitar...  Can’t remember for the life of me how I stumbled upon the Honey Dripper but serendipity is a splendid thing.  Guitars like yours keep me connected with the basics, the simplicity, the earthiness and undeniable sexiness that is the electric guitar.  Yes, I have had a good play on the Honeydripper and it’s certainly got some serious mojo. I love it.  Cheers for now brother."

So much cake, so little time........  Man thank you for remembering.  At 62 it's coming together finally.  I was a road dog in my youth, but some 38 years ago I put some sort of roots down.  NOW though, with the love of my life, it's time for us to get the gypsy thing on!  Next winter will find us in Fla., looking up some friends, and of course you are among them Ted!

Jawbone and Jolene are shortly to begin the Adios Infinity Tour, which will last as long as we do.  The plan is to see the sights, meet the people, and play THE MUSIC everywhere and everytime we can.

Keep a spot for us and we'll see you this oming winter ol bud!

Thanks a bunch! I have hand built surfboards, hunting bows, rifle stocks, and prosthetic arms & legs (I am a prosthetist), but this is my first attempt at a musical instrument. I recently acquired a nice wood humidor and ordered some parts from CBGitty to build a guitar with it. I dug up an old cookie tin and hickory mattox handle from my barn and just started on a...banjo/canjo or guitar, not sure which it will be yet. So much to learn!

After over a thousand instruments, I still screw up

Well, I had a serious brain fart today.  I'm making the Mini Taser Teddley Bow.  I made the one string humbucker and cut the mounting holes for it and made the rear cavity to access the pup.  Next was a cavity to access the jack and the hole to mount the jack, then drill the wire route hole.  I did that, then resanded the wood (2X4s) and applied 2 coats of the vintage Fender butterscotch stain. I was feeling pretty good, a great few hours work.  Then I noticed it.  UH OH, I really screwed up.…See More
