I also made some bowed dulcis, one is really only good for regular lap play and the other is only a few hours from completion, but somehow I lost track of that build somewhere.
I'd be glad to offer any insight from my few builds. Look around, especially at Carolina Fiddle's website -- his are really beautiful. Watch out that you are narrow enough in the playing zone - or you'll clip the bow every time you go for the low and high string. I've played some by other builders and that has been teh problem.
