"Hi again Diane,
When I first left you a message, I had a few people here and was somewhat hard to consentrate, and as I am writing this, I am getting distracted again!!! But wanted to thank you for your suggestions, I love to design, but, not too…"
"Thanks Diane! Yes, I play the fiddle, or, rather the type I had built for me. I will send you some pictures of it. It is a 3 string fretted guitart type neck on a violin body. Works great but I want to try somethings differently. I think Mike Lowe…"

Hi, Victor. I've only built the one fiddle and it was a struggle to get a good neck angle. Dunno if I'd try it again, but might make a 3-string fretted one someday, played cello style.
I also made some bowed dulcis, one is really only good for regular lap play and the other is only a few hours from completion, but somehow I lost track of that build somewhere.
I'd be glad to offer any insight from my few builds. Look around, especially at Carolina Fiddle's website -- his are really beautiful. Watch out that you are narrow enough in the playing zone - or you'll clip the bow every time you go for the low and high string. I've played some by other builders and that has been teh problem.
