Question on double 3 stringer

On a double 3 stringer what size strings do you use and how do you tune it? Is each string an octative above the base string that it is paired with like on a normal 12 string? If so, does that mean that (counting from the bottom) strings 1 and 2 and 6 are all the same size and tuned to the same note?

Hopefully I'll create a solid place to find cool & interesting articles on subjects HMC members will… Continue

How I Built My First CBG (Step by Step)

Almost two years ago I documented my first build. There weren't many step by step videos around then so I thought I would make one. With minimal direction but a urge to build, I set out on the journey. Knowing what I know now there are a few things I would (and do now) differently. Hopefully, it might serve as a starting point for others.…
