Eggert and his story

Eggert was made up one afternoon at my buddys farm,Dave and I were just fooling around with a video camrea,I would say something he would respond with a line or two,I had been off work do to surgery,so we had lots of time,eggert became a helping hand for Dave,counting eggs,even if eggert could only count to 10,Dave still gave him a job,then eggert gets promoted,things get a little hairy at times,its was all made for the folks here to enjoy,if you don't like it,leave the page its that…

Guitar is complete except for strings,outer case shell,top and bottom done,Worked on the dividers,supports for the case a couple hours this morning,pics to come,before padding and upolstery.

The Recovered "Old World" - "Sinker" Bald Cypress as a Tone Wood

The Gulf Coast Bald Cypress has been unavailable as a construction material for many decades, because it grows mainly in environmentally protected coastal wetlands. It is against the law to cut down a living Bald Cypress. Even if it was available, it takes many centuries to grow and would no doubt still be a rare and exotic wood. Fortunately, The Bald Cypress has now  emerged in the home wood flooring market.  "Recovered" sinker logs are being dredged up for "Pecky Cypress", the rustic…
