1168 Tele

This tele is another pine one ( like Leos 1st ones...). The inspiration for the finish and guard come from My Grandparents basement...worn grey steps led to this yellow tile. When We helped Grandma move a few years back (after being there 46 years) I took a few tiles. FIRST BASS...... making a Telecaster 4 string bass Highway Key style

A local player commisssioned Me to make a Telecaster style bass. I decided to use pine because the very 1st tele's Leo Fender made were  pine...and to use Fender parts where possible. Ill let You decide how it came out....but the guy who bought it loves it! I had a blast and a half creating it!…

Hello to all, I just saw the coolest thing! Breedlove Guitars has a great vacation where they have perspective buyers out to their facility. They wine & dine You, give Ya the factory tour, let You aid in the design & build of Your acoustic and then give You a Porshe to go cruising through the wine country. All of  this for around I believe $10k for the weekend.

Now for those of You like Myself who although this sounds like a perfect weekend would better be able to quench their…
