Cigar Box Guitar Headquarters - CBG HQ

I started on a few of these guitars this summer, and I thought I'd try my hand at another progress blog.

The bodies are mostly African Mahogany, a couple of canarywood and one Bubinga in there too. When all is said and done they'll all have figured maple necks and one kind of rosewood or another as the fretboard. Another feature I'm putting on these that I don't see very often is a wood pickguard and control cover. The one in the picture is an African Mahogany body with Lacewood appointments. If anybody would like to see the other bodies I'd be happy to post pictures.

Just have to reshape the control cover alittle to fit against the pickguard

here's a rosewood control cover, just gotta get up enough rosewood for a pickguard
