Thank you Ted. By the way do you make a thumpin' phat pup for a 2 string bass? Been thinking about an EMG but would love to have something hand wound. I'm all thumbs when it comes to electronics, even my soldering looks like it has been done by a poorly trained 3 toed sloth!
I just signed up (signed on) to your website yesterday. I'm building my eighth CBG and I'm trying to upgrade to a CB Gitty humbucker with a tone and volume pot. I use a very simple floating bridge design using a piece of hardwood topped with a piece of fretwire. Do I need to ground the bridge. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question. Please redirect me if it is. I'm not only a novice electrician, I'm also a novice forum/chatroom participant. Many thanks from Taiwan. Jeffrey
I'm new to instrument building having focused on vintage amplifier restoration and some custom builds. I'd appreciate your advice on the essential tools that I should purchase and suppliers - there are many online, however, you may know which provide the best quality, service and prices in your experience.
Thanks again and I look forward to participating to the clubhouse!
