Hello again, Ted. No, I did not find a diagram that fit, so from my vast wealth of lack of knowledge and experience, I created one. Oh, and my profile picture has me sneaking up on an extra kitchen chair that's about to have surgery, due to my need of a CBG neck. "Parts is Parts!"
Hello, Ted. I had a question when I joined and thus far the entire world wide web has not a single reference to any wiring diagram or comment about "in-bridge piezo disc with volume, on/off switch, neck humbucker with volume, on/off switch, and one mono jack". So, being the daring, foolhardy young man of questionable background that I am, I'm building it anyway. And after more research, I finally learned what a guitar "kill-switch" is,and does, it seemed like the perfect monkey wrench to throw in, so I'm putting one of those on build number five also. The separate on/off switches and volume pots should provide an infinite number of tones, and keep some digital distance between that snobby upper crust humbucker and his poor neighbor living under the bridge. The humbucker is my first home made pickup, loosely following the plans for a "flat boy" pickup. Although in comparison, I'd have to call mine a "fat boy" pickup. But in initial lab (studio apartment coffee table) testing, it Produced a richer tone than my Fender pups. Ever onward. A good day to you. -David, a.k.a. the ConnMan.
Thanks Ted it's great to find a club with like minded people,it's hard for me to sit still I'm always in my workshop unless there's more important stuff to do around the place but I'm gonna try and get involved.
Hi Ted, thanks for the invite, I've been building box guitars and hanging out on CBN for the past year, I just discovered Handmade Music Clubhouse today when I ran across your member profile. This looks like another home, thanks.
Hi; thanks for adding me. I know a little about how to make a box that makes some good noise. the more I know ,the more I know how little I know. it's nice to have a venue to show off what you did and get feedback on it. So this is my feedback to you ;) thanks
